Can my records be changed?
No. We only connect to your accounting system with read-only permissions, which means we cannot edit, delete, or create any records. Nothing about your books or settings can be changed through our system. Even if someone stole an API token, it still couldn’t be used to modify your data.
How do I disconnect my data?
QuickBooks users can disconnect instantly by clicking “Disconnect” on our QuickBooks connection page. Users who use other platforms can disconnect by contacting us directly, and we remove access within 24 hours. Once disconnected, your data flow stops immediately.
How will my software change?
It won’t change at all. Your software works exactly the same before, during, and after using our service. We don’t add apps inside your software, and nothing about your workflow or settings is altered.
Does DATAFORGE keep my data after I disconnect?
No. We permanently delete your stored data from our system within 48 hours of your confirmed disconnect. You’ll receive an email once the deletion is complete. We only retain items required by law or professional standards—never your financial records.
Is my data private?
Yes. We never sell, share, or use your data for AI training. All client information stays in its own isolated environment and is protected by strict encryption, secrets management, and access controls. Only authorized personnel can view your data, and only for the purpose of providing the service.
